Who am I?

Hi I’m Dan and I am currently working at Woking FC as the Head of Medical for the first team.

I joined the team back in 2022 having graduated that summer from the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol, where I was awarded a second class honours degree in Sport Rehabilitation. Throughout my studies I gained great experiences working within the sporting industry. I completed two seasons as the first aider and rehabilitator for a team called Almondsbury FC while studying and during my course I had placement opportunities, including working at Flint House helping with the rehabilitation of injured police officers, part time work within the clinic at the university and 6 weeks working with Aldershot FC (I know traitor) where I was able to hone my skills.

I have a strong passions and love for all things sport both watching and participating. In 2024 I achieved a life goal of mine by completing the London Marathon. Throughout my life I have been involved in many sports from coaching tennis and working as a director for holiday sport camps to hopelessly hitting a golf ball around a course and endless hours of playing football. In my free time if I’m not playing sport I like to be heading to the Emirates or Twickenham Stoop to watch Arsenal or the Mighty Quins.

Coming into my 3rd season with Woking FC I have covered many roles including Sport Rehabilitator, Strength and Conditioning coach and now Head of Medical (oh, and occasionally kitman!).

I have a passion and enjoyment for helping people to not just return to full fitness but to reach their goals no matter how big or small. I have wanted to work in the field of rehabilitation since I was 13 years old and I am truly living my dream and hope I can share my passion with you. Through working with me I won’t just help you return back from injury but help you to reach your full potential whilst also understanding the reasoning behind the rehabilitation programme I set for you.
